Angel Wings
These are articulating angel wings I made in high school!
Overview
When I was in middle school, I started making articulating wings, beginning with a pull cord to open. By the time I reached high school, I wanted to make a pair that would open on their own.
Design Process
I based the frame off of the older models I had made, a pretty standard outline that people have showcased online. I spent a while building out the frame and backboard, testing the angles to get them to open the way I wanted. After that, I tested the electronics out, before getting into the cosmetics of the feathers.
